I'll let you be in my dreams if i can be in yours
Slowly walking behind her pokemon, Annabelle looked around her. It was odd for her to be anywhere that wasn't Tonga, especially for no discernible reason like she was now. Unlike some people, she was happy with the same places and same routine. She always got a little nervous when she had to go other places. In fact, she didn't even expect to come here. She had gotten a ferry ticket to go to Victory Island and check out the Contest hall a bit more with Po, but in her nervousness, she must have gotten on the boat to Mitaro instead. She, of course, wanted to get off the island as soon as she could. Unfortunately, there wasn't another ferry going to either victory island or Tonga for an hour, so she was stuck here. The man running the ferry booth had suggested that she go see the city while she was here, but all of the loud noises and bright light did not appeal to her what so ever, so she instead opted to wander around close to the ferry dock.
It was certainly a nice island with weather that seemed to be a mix of the cold dreariness of Bahari and the warm sunshine of Tonga. It was a little cloudy, and a cool enjoyable breeze flew around them. Her eyes wandered around the fresh green grass and the people with their pokemon. She decided to walk around just a bit more, just to see if there was any place she could wait a bit more comfortably.
Before she knew it, she came across a sign that read "Gold Leaf park". Looking ahead, she saw flowers littered on a grassy meadow, with sidewalks and newly painted benches around. There were people scattered about, having picnics, playing, and feeding the stray bird pokemon. It seemed to have an aura of happiness and peacefulness. One that reminded Annabelle of Tonga. She awed at the beauty of it all as she sat down on one of the benches. She didn't know how anyone would want to go to the city in Mitaro when they could come here. She leaned her head back on the rim and looked up at the sky, feeling the breeze on her face. Pokemon flew over of her, reminding her of Po, who had laid down next to her on the bench. "Oh, yeah. Since we are here, we should find a good pokemon to battle with." she said to her pokemon. She had almost forgotten that she had to train Po in order to be able to compete at the Contest hall. She hesitatingly stood up and looked around for a pokemon Po could battle.
