starter pokemon and type themes
TRAINERS AND COORDINATORS
On this site, we have you pick a Pokemon type that your character can use. This is to restrict your choices to make it more interesting, difficult, and to make it so you are unable to make an overpowered team. Instead of covering all type advantages, you have to figure out how to work around your weaknesses.
Trainers may choose from:
normal
fighting
flying
poison
ground
rock
bug
ghost
steel
fire
water
grass
electric
psychic
ice
dragon
dark
fairy
Coordinators can choose an egg group or a theme. When it comes to egg groups, some are banned due to the sheer number of pokemon that are included in them. These such groups are the field group, monster group, and water 1 group. If it was not obvious, the ditto egg group can not be used as well.
Also, as foxes share a similar appearance to both dogs and cats, any fox-like pokemon could fit under the feline or canine category.
List of themes:
canines
felines
rodents
reptiles
genderless
(There are more themes. If want something not listed, run it by a staff member first.)
STARTER POKEMON
You get to pick your starter, and it can be anything that is not on the list below. As long as it fits into your category, anything not on this list works! Put your chosen pokemon in your application, and a staff member will give you your pokemon below when they accept you, including the moves, level, gender, and ability. All starter pokemon start at level 5.
You may not use:
any legendary pokemon
smoochum
larvesta
eevee
riolu
dratini
gible
charmander
bagon
larvatar
absol
rotom
hawlucha
ditto
goomy
trapinch
axew
lapras
druddigon
cranidos
aerodactyl
